  • We started playing together in 2009 as a jazz trio, and we've built our band from there! The core members of the band have been with us since the beginning.

  • Most of the band lives in Brooklyn, with a few of us in Manhattan. We like to say we're a Brooklyn-based wedding and events band.

  • We have a roster of eight singers, and the lineup for any event depends on availability and the client's needs. You can check out all of our singers on our YouTube and Instagram!

  • For weddings, we usually arrive three hours before the ceremony. Otherwise, We're happy to adjust to your timeline.

  • We'll learn up to three 3 custom songs that are not in our repertoire! Most couples like to use them for their special dances, but they can be used for anything!

  • As the band has grown, we've built a dependable roster of musicians who can step up at a moment's notice. All of our musicians play with us regularly throughout the year and are well-versed in the Mod repertoire.

  • Check out our list here! Feel free to let us know what you like from the list or if there's anything you'd prefer to avoid hearing. Regardless, we like to read the room and adjust throughout the night.

  • When planning your event, we'll ask if there's a dress code and adjust accordingly. We wear navy suits and cocktail dresses for most events but bring out black suits/tuxes and gowns for more formal occasions.

  • Yes! We'll pretty much go wherever your budget can take us. We do events throughout the East Coast and have traveled to the Caribbean a few times! If your venue is more than three hours away, we'll require overnight accommodations.

  • Yes, most venues require all their vendors to have liability insurance. Ask us any time during your planning process, and we can send that over.

  • We require a 20% deposit to hold your date, and the final payment is due four weeks prior to the event.

  • Yes, we'll provide all MC services, including introductions, speeches, and general announcements throughout the event.

  • Yes, we'll usually take breaks that coincide with speeches and the main course. When we're not on stage, we'll keep the vibe going with music from the sound system. We like to end the evening with a longer set to keep everyone on the dance floor and end with a bang.
